Portraits

Portraits by Kip Jones, (2001) is a project comprised of 6 aluminum panels measuring 8' x 4' or 4' x 4', depicting personalities from the Okanagan region. Silhouettes of figures and animals, along with related shapes and imagery frame the natural foliage of the park in an unusual way. The piece is interactive as the public often place themselves into the cut out shapes of the figures, as if trying on a fictional persona.
